Liz served as the managing director of strategic research at EAB where, under her leadership, the firm developed the Advancement Investment and Performance Initiative (AIPI), a proprietary benchmarking tool available to chief advancement officers in the US, Canada, and the UK. This tool is used annually by over 200 colleges and universities to demonstrate fundraising ROI, enhance organizational performance, and make the case for additional university investment.

Liz is regularly sought after for her insights on advancement especially regarding Millennial and Gen Z givers, campaigns, organizational efficiency, and donor engagement. She and her firm Rothenberg Research partner with McDermott Philanthropy on data, constituent surveys, and research-oriented components of select projects.
